Far Surpassing Grace

Far surpassing grace
Has God this sinner shown.
Not only saved from hell's dark place,
But bound for heaven's throne.

Far surpassing grace
Has now this servant seen.
Through Christ the very Son of God
I'm not common or unclean.

Far surpassing grace
His blessings boundless full
In heavenlies to me in Christ
I'm made in Him a son.

Far surpassing grace,
For now I know I'll see
The brightened glory of His face
and then from sin be free.

But...

Far surpassing grace
Was held from Christ my Lord
When on the cross He paid the price:
One I could not afford.

It's all from Him,
This grace I know!
- So massive and complete.
I'm more than simply saved from hell;
In Him I am a saint.
